Cleaning is the new black.

I will not lie, I love cleaning. This probably stems from the fact that deep down inside, I hate disorder. So, yes, I also love to clean. Generally, when I'm bored on the weekends, I clean my room. Or, rather, I organise my room. I pick up my clothes, I sharpen all my pencil crayons, I count my money, I clean my closet, I organise all my clothes by colour and style, I make sure all my books are in alphabetical order, I check to make sure there's nothing under my bed (except a few containers that are supposed to be there).

The funny thing is, cleaning used to be my worst enemy. My room was cramped, crowded, and eternally messy. If I cleaned it, it would stay looking nice for about three days, and I wouldn't clean it for another year. But now that I've moved and I'm living in a big green room that is far from cramped and crowded, I clean all the time. I think there are two reasons for my newfound love of cleaning: the first is that it makes my room look so nice, and the second is that it feels so satisfying to clean.

(Incidentally, I also love cleaning my website. I'm always making stylesheet changes or updating content. In fact, thanks to Melissa's awesome tutorial on dynamic sidebars and Wordpress, I've recently made my sidebar, well, dynamic.)

I hate cleaning! I'm really lazy too, so cleaning is really a drag for me. But sometimes I have these random outburst where I have a need to clean. Cleaning is satisfying though!

I'd rather things stay the way they're supposed to be, so I never "clean" technically. It's more that I keep things organized so I don't have to clean at all. I'm lame like that. When I'm really bored, I organize my books according to their spine colour so they vaguely resemble the rainbow.

I love to organize my things as well, and I just can't stand disorder!
When I'm at my friends' houses…. I clean their rooms for them.

I'm such a lazy boy but I can't stand having a such dirty room, which triggers me to clean it once a week. I'm not really as neat as you but at least I'm better than what I used to be. :)

Cleaning is so satisfying. Most of the time though, I can't be bothered because I'm such a packrat and I don't like throwing anything away.

Hmm….your site does look very….clean, and nice! Lol. :)

By the way, this is unrelated, but do you remember posting a link to some animal buttons, which were very cute? I'm not sure if it was on this site, or Clemwalrussness, but I was looking for them. Do you happen to have the link to the site? Thanks! :)

I love things being clean.. but.. umm, yah, i don't really like to clean, unless i'm in emotional turmoil, then i love to do dishes and sing loud sappy songs. it's a form of therapy. but in general. ugh! so what i do is "try" to never let it get messy. but i fail at that. so i live in clutter. so much clutter. :( want to come clean my house??? ./puppy dog eyes
